Plan for 2007-2008 School Year

Learning method plays an important role in our lives. It affects not only the speed of absorbing knowledge, but also the memory for learning.A successful learner has enthusiasm and motivation for learning, determination to reach high standards and openness to new thinking and ideas. To be a sucessful learner, these are many items that I plan for english enhancement:

l Specific goal:

First,I hope I can know exactly what teacher say in english. Second, I expect I can read and speak more fluently. Last but not least, I anticipate that I will apply english to my daily life.

l Specific actions:

To know exactly by hearing, I'll concentrate on the class, besides I'll listen to the radio such as ICRT, BBC, and Studio Classroom an hour everyday. To promote my abilities of reading and speaking, I'll read extracurricular books with speaking from low-level to high-level (such as Reading Club), accommodating myself to the pattern of thinking in english. Listening english song, reading a part of english news paper everyday, and writing down something interesting in my blog in english, all of above are good way to apply english to my daily life.

　　Make it a habit and a priority.

　　For us, english is not noly a "foreign language" , but a communication tool with the whole world. I believe I will connect the world by learning english in one day, but before that, I should improve my english ability constantly, and enjoy in learning !

We know English is very important now in the world.

So I , a college student , need to improve my English.

In fact , I don't have a goal yet .But if I don't set one , then I may not study hard to achieve the goal.

I planed to improve my listening and reading at first .

The method to achieve the goal may not be difficult .But it may take you a little time every day.

I planed to read Advanced every day and listen to the radio after that.

Maybe it looks easy to do it ,but i am not sure i can do it every day regularly.

However,I will try to do may best.

Become a freshman here comes several goals to reach:
First of all,Wide reading to increase vocabulary.
such as novels,magzines...and so on.
every week read one~two english articles
(not include text book)
Secondly,practice speak english with others ..haha
perhapes not very well and sounds like Taiwan's english.
however, it may works.And may be with roommates to pratice~
And i think see a movie may good,too~~
There are a lot of movies wait for us,sometimes we can learn some
from there.there are many good setences and listen to music...
there must more fun.
now I have learn few songs but not well because it is so quick!
Above all,I have to really do these or all of I said are nothing.

My Conprehensive Plan for English Enhancement 2007~2008

In this academic year, I have a goal to promote my English ability, especially my listening and speaking.

My goal is that in the reading aspect, I can enrich my vocabulary to read articles or news more easily. Then in the writting aspect, I hope to be easier when writting my blog and the content won't be awful. In the listening and speacking aspect, I hope to understand ICRT's conversation and dare to speak English with others. Most important is to pass the middle-level of GEPT.

And in order to achieve it, I will take steps by following method:

• consentrate on my English class and learn well
• read "Advance" every day(including listening)
• read some English novels or news
• listen to ICRT or some English songs
• post essays to my blog

Last but not least, I have to make good use of time so that I can cope with my major, other affairs and this goal.

Hope that I can fulfill my goal !!

For me ,speaking English is absolutely more difficult than English grammar ,vocabulary and reading .
As a result,I try to find the problem why I have a hard time speaking English. In the long run, I find that is due to

Ha ha ha ,well, it's really necessary and meaningful to set an English Enhancement Plan ~!There are too many students in the university that have said that their English levels are worse than in junior high.I was surprised at first, but now I can know why(ha ha because I am a student of university now......),and I want to be better in using and learning the language of English!To sum up,I hope I can fulfill these goals and achieve the expactation which I imagine!

1.Endeavor to reading the test books(including Moasic.Interaction.psychology.sociology......).I think these are the most basic to at least maintain the English degree.

2.Try to read the world's most English notable or classic books.Although I have no cofidence that I can understand them but I hope one day I can have no difficulty to read them

3.Read magazine everyday. I have described TIME magazine,which will send the new one to me every week.But to my astonishment, my English teacher said that she sometimes finds some new words in TIME maganize so that she has to look up!Oh oh~~~I am so scared that I can't figure out what is written in TIME!(I can have TIME about 4 weeks later)So,if I can't conquer this problem,maybe I'll read Advanced.

4.Remember 3 words or phrases everyday.
(excluding from test books or magazine.)

5.Practice English with anyone who is willing to practice with me.So far,I have found one friend to practice with me.But we meet about 2 times one week~I feel it's too less,so I want to find more people......

Above all are my English Enhancement Plan.Maybe there are not very perfect or consummate~but I will do my best to achieve them!And if necessary, I'll revise.Ha ha ah I feel good to set a goal to achieve.It's clear now......

I know English is a very important language.
I donnot lose other people too much.
My goal is that first,I can pass the TOEFL when I graduate from the university .
Second,I hope I have enough courage to talk with foreigners without scare.

I have to form some good habits like reading English newspapers or magazines every days.
I can also listen the radio like ICRT or some classic English songs to improve my listening.

In the beginning, I will read magazines like EZ Talk . Because I think now English is not a subject to study only for tests any more, I have more time to read the magazines which I like. But why I choose the book? That’s because I think the book is more colloquial than other books. (English is a tool.) I will spend half an hour reading and listening everyday. Secondly, I will write two or three articles to place on my blog for the purpose of improving writing ability. Finally, I will have conversation classes during my summer vacation if I have enough money.

First,because my listening is not good,I think I should promote it.
I will listen ICRT and some english songs.
Second,reading is also important!
I decide to read the Reader's Digest(english edition)
The Reader's Digest is not onlg give me new information but also
strengthen the reading ability.
Third,I wish I can sing english songs without seeing the lyrics.
I think it is a good way to learn english.

        During this summer vacation,I bought an Advanced but did`t buy its super disk. Because I thought that I can listen it on line everyday. But the fact is that I only did it in the first few days.(I really overestimated my capability = =") There are so many things around me make me forget that I should read English. I hope I can overcome this situation and spend much time on English.
        In the past,I listened to Japanese songs more than English songs. But form now on,I would try to listen more and more English songs and try to sing them.(my roommates may be scared by me,hahaha~) Recently,my friends and I have started to chat in MSN by using English. I think that would be a good way for us to improve our English ability!
My goal:
1.Read English magazines page2-4 or Our Daily Bread 2 chapters every week.
2.Learn at least one English song every week
3.Write at least one article in English on blog every week.

         My Comprehensive Plan for English Enchantment2007~2008(會計系一A林昱齊)

l   Goal: I want to be my father's English assistant in business. My father has a branch in the Thailand , and he has to communicate other employees in English. However, he can speak only broken English. I am afraid that employees could not get what he wants. Therefore, I want to be a bridge between them with my good English!

l   How to do?

I separate the train into four part

1.      Listening comprehension: I would listen to the news report on CNN or CD accompanied with book for 30 minutes five times a week.

2.      Reading comprehension: I would not read class book only. Because I study the college of business, I would read the international news of CNN or BBC. Besides, I also read the article in Wikipedia to broaden my horizons for 30 minutes five times a week.

3.      Speaking comprehension: When I read an article, I would recite it. I think that is a good method. Besides, I also look for "English Corner" in NTPU positively. It is another good source for speaking ability.

4.      Writing comprehension: I join in guitar club this term, and I would practice lots of Chinese songs. To sing the touching songs, I need to savor the lyrics. Therefore, I write down my feeling of the song in English in my blogs. I would do it when I take bus to Taichung.

l   The prize for achieving the goal: If I met my goal, I want to increase the practice time of guitar.

University is a new environment for me to study.

I believe that at university I need to learn English more voluntarily.

For me,Ehglish is not a subject but a tool for life.

I want to make it a habit to learn English.

And I have planned three ways to improve it.

First,I will buy CNN magazine as my tool to learn English.

And I will study it every day,memorizing the vocabulary as more as possible.

Secon,I plan to listen to ICRT when I surf the Internet or chat with my friend with MSN.

Third,every week I will learn a new English song which I am interested in.



My final goal:

1.Writing English blog every week.

2.I wish I could figure out what jokes are told on ICRT.

3.I wish my English average grade can higher than 75.
